Eisenmenger syndrome

Definition

A rare respiratory disease associated with unoperated congenital heart disease and characterized by congenital heart malformations with reversed or bi-directional shunting through an intra-cardiac or intervascular (usually aorto-pulmonary) communication with the development of PAH.
