Ependymoma arise from the ependymal cells of the cerebral ventricles, corticle rests and central canal of the spinal cord, and manifest with variable symptoms such headache, vomiting, seizures, focal neurological signs and loss of vision and can cause obstructive hydrocephalus in some cases.
